Mayor's MessageLeaf season is here and we will begin the annual process of picking them up the first week in November. Please remember not to pile the leaves too high in front of your home so that the vacuum can pick them up. The leaves should be at least eighteen inches from the curb line. For safety reasons, please make sure the kids don't play in the leaf piles. Leaf pck up will continue through at least the first week if December.
Please remember that if you have a gardener, then your gardener is responsible for the leaf removal from your property.
Also, it would be helpful if you have a catch basin near your home, that you assist us in keeping it clear of leaves by raking the leaves away from the grates. This will help prevent flooding during heavy rainstorms.
Con-Kel Landscaping will bgin leaf pick-up the first week in November.
The Nassau County Department of Public works will be repairing the strecth of Superior Rd between Commonwealth Boulevard and Delaware Road. Survey of repairs ais scheduled to begin in the coming weeks.
Thank you for your cooperation.
